BURNABY, BC – Advanced Intelligent Systems (AIS), a leading custom robotics company providing modular systems to create practical robots announced today the appointment of Jonathan Saperstein, CEO of TreeTown USA to the AIS’s Advisory Board. Mr. Saperstein’s experience will be immensely valuable in Advanced Intelligent System’s development of affordable, autonomous robotic solutions to solve labour shortage problems in the horticultural industry.

Saperstein is CEO of TreeTown USA, one of America’s largest nurseries, and has led the company through several acquisitions, responsible for the company’s strong organic growth. Saperstein’s experience in the greenhouse and horticulture industry will be instrumental to AIS as the company is developing its modular robotic applications and expanding into international markets.
The need for labor in the horticulture industry has been steadily climbing, however, finding workers to perform the repetitive and labor-intensive tasks necessary in nurseries and greenhouses in the horticulture industry is extremely challenging.
